Peyton Manning breaks Tom Brady's single season touchdown record

Well, we all knew this was coming for a while. However, Peyton Manning has made it official, throwing his 51st touchdown pass of the season to pass Tom Brady's previous record of 50.

Manning threw 4 touchdowns on the day as his Broncos defeated the hapless Texans 37-13. The record came with 4:34 left in the fourth quarter, as Manning hit tight end Julius Thomas with a perfect throw. Brady previously set the record by throwing 50 in the undefeated 2007 regular season.

"Brady will probably break it next year, so we'll enjoy it while we can" Manning cracked after the game.

Coupled with the Chiefs loss to Indianapolis, the win means that Denver has clinched the AFC West. They'll clinch the top seed in the conference if New England loses to Baltimore today.
