Should Pats fans care about Manning's record pace?

No.

This could have been the shortest article I have ever written, but it does bare some meaning and thus is worth exploring. While Peyton Manning has been on record pace all year and will at some point break Tom Brady's 50 touchdown passes in a season mark (a mark we all knew would be broken at some point) It's worth noting how fast Manning has accomplished it...or has he? Brady ended his 2007 season with 398 completions and 578 attempts, keep in mind Brady broke the record towards the end of the last game of the season.

That being said, Peyton Manning is currently ten touchdowns behind to break the record. Yet he's thrown the ball 480 times and has completed 327 of those. While it is likely Manning will break the record in the next three, possibly two games. It's also worth nothing that even though it'll be done in less games, he still might broke the record with more completions and/or attempts thrown.

Other than that little piece of info, Pats fans should really care less about Manning's passing assault. It is easier for him since he's only got one ring on his finger.
