Broncos sign former Patriot Marquice Cole, whose Foxborough locker was still intact yesterday
Oh no! Not Marquice Cole!
The Patriots bottom of the depth chart corner and core special teamer will be playing in the AFC Championship game after all. Cole was on the Patriots for most of the season, often off and on the roster.
This has a lot to do with the Broncos' best corner, Chris Harris, landing on IR. It's funny, I joked with the PatriotsLife writers after the Harris news that the trickle down effect of that injury has similar to the Talib injury in the AFC Championship last year. It thrust Cole into a bigger role, and he was abused badly by Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin.
Now, Cole will be suiting up in terrible orange. It still remains unlikely that he gets to play very much.
