Is Indy the best case scenario for the Pats

Short answer is yes. Yes, Indianapolis is the best case scenario for the Patriots.

Besides being ranked the lowest on Patriots Life's Fear Index, they have the weakest roster of any team who played on Wednesday on both sides of the ball. While their QB is the best who played in the AFC wild card games in my books, they have a lot of holes that this Patriots team could exploit, despite all their injuries.

Yes, Andrew Luck pulled off an impressive comeback against the Chiefs...at home. I don't think he could come into Gillette Stadium and do that against a future Hall of Fame quarterback. Why? Lack of weapons and lack of experience. He's talented, but the only time he went on the road, last year against Baltimore, the Colts lost out to the eventual champs, the Baltimore Ravens. A small sample size, I know, but he's still only a 2nd year QB with limited experience.

Besides, the Colts defense isn't as strong as the Chiefs, or certainly Cincinnati Bengals. Let's not forget that the Colts still gave up 44 points and had to come back from a 28-point deficit. If they do that against the Pats, they're not going to recover because Tom Brady knows how to close out games.

None of this means this game is a lock by any means, but I still think the Patriots should be able to seal the deal against Indy. I could be wrong, though.
