Kurt Warner still clinging to spygate

Former Super Bowl winning quarterback, current NFL analyst and noted conspiracy theorist Kurt "Grassy Knoll" Warner just can not seem to let go of the past.

Konspiracy Kurt, appearing on 98.5 The Sports Hub's Felger & Mazz, said the Rams loss to the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI still haunts his completely unerotic dreams at night because of that seven letter "S" word that no good Christian can utter: Spygate.

"We understand Sp-Sp-Sp-Spygate; it was there, but nobody really knows what it was. I think the unfortunate thing is nobody really has any answers. When you’re the team that lost that Super Bowl there’s always that question in your mind. There’s that inkling of was there something else going on? It’s unfortunate, because as much as you try to put it out of your mind, you know it was still there and we really never got the answers to those questions."

Patriots coach Bill Belichick took his $500,000 spanking from the league and the team lost a first round draft pick over the incident. However, nothing was ever proven that the Pats Super Bowl win over the "Greatest Show on Turf" was aided by anything more than a good ol' fashioned ass whoopin'.

Now, despite occurring nearly six years ago, Warner can't seem to move on. As the host of the new TV series The Moment, perhaps Warner could take this moment and just shut up.
