No Patriots make Profootball Writers' All-NFL team

Man, how much fuel can you add to our fire?

Every year the Professional Football Writers of America releases their All-NFL team and this year the list was highlighted by five players returning from last years list, including Peyton Manning, J.J. Watt and Megatron (here is the full roster). The other highlight of the list was the complete lack of any Patriots players:

I have one major bone to pick with the list. I understand why Brady wasn't on the list, they only had one roster spot for the QB so obviously Manning gets the nod over Brady due to his season. BUT here's what I don't understand: how Stephen Gostkowski didn't make this list. Seriously! Yea Tucker had that awesome field goal to beat the Lions, but Gostkowski has been just as good as Tucker. Both kickers booted through 92 percent of their kicks and Gostkowski set franchise records for points scored in a season. I'm still bitter he didn't make the Pro Bowl.

Also Jimmy Graham is way overrated. He disappears in games and isn't reliable. If Gronk had a full season, you can bet he would have beaten out Graham for that list.

But for the most part I can't argue with the choices PFW made and the lack of Patriots is understandable since every big name player we got is on IR. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to settle for a Lombardi trophy. Darn.
