Patriots lose another member of coaching staff

This time it is TE coach George Godsey:

For those who aren't keeping track at home, so far the Patriots have lost their linebacker coach of 14 years, offensive line Guru and coach of 30 years Dante Scarnecchia, and now George Godsey.

Some would say the Patriots' offseason is not off to a great start, but I like to think more positively. Maybe all this change will be good, bringing in new, fresh coaching talent to spice up both the Patriots offensive and defensive attack. With the ever changing style of the NFL, it's not a bad thing to lose coaches who have been coaching the old ways for years and get in coaches who are more used to coaching the game today. I see this particularly in the linebacker room since linebackers have made one of the biggest changes in the NFL - from big run stuffers to quick athletic cover guys.

Only time will tell, but don't get too worried. We still have the Grey Hoodie.
