Tom Brady injured throw hand ligament early in the year + Game Day Inactives

Remember those camera shots on TV of close ups of Tom Brady's hand?

Turns out, he had injured his throwing hand early in the year, the ligaments particularly.

NESN:
The Patriots quarterback suffered an injured ligament in his throwing hand, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer. Brady’s hand appeared swollen during the Patriots’ Week 8 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Brady certainly didn't look like himself at times early in the year, but seems to have turned things around recently.

While his early season struggles were largely blamed on that injured hand, his crop of rookie receivers took part of the blame as well. Neither Aaron Dobson or Kenbrell Thompkins have gotten much playing time in the latter half of the year, as both struggled with injuries.

Dobson however will be a go today according to NFL.com giving the Pats a big weapon on the outside to test the Broncos' deep. Thompkins however will be inactive with a concussion.
