Broncos sign Demarcus Ware

Apparently John Elway is playing with monopoly money this offseason out in Denver.

Fresh off giving former Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib one of the richest free-agent contracts in league history late last night, the team has wasted no time further bolstering the team's defense, inking a a 3 year/$30 million contract with Demarcus Ware, who was recently let go by the Cowboys.

$20 million of that contract is guaranteed to Ware, who is in the latter stages of his career. That being said, he can still play and will make for a fearsome defensive end tandem with Von Miller, while also providing strong veteran leadership in the locker room. Ware is the third major defensive acquisition for Denver since free agency opened yesterday, lured to Mile High along with Talib and TJ Ward.
