Darrelle Revis here to win

Darrelle Revis officially signed with the Patriots yesterday and received a tour of the facilities at Gillette Stadium. According to NFL.com, there were about 26 teams interested in Revis, but Revis chose the Patriots because he wanted to win.

Per NFL.com:
"I weighed my options and I wanted to win, and I felt like this was the right place," Revis said.

"My thing is all about winning. I want to win. What better organization than the New England Patriots to be a part of?"

26 teams (out of 32, mind you) seems like a little bit of an exaggeration, but at the same time, Revis is one of the best corners in the game. Not sure there were quite that many teams, but I'm sure there was plenty of interest from other teams.
But it's probably safe to assume the Patriots have a much better chance of making it to the Super Bowl than most of the other teams that showed interest, so if he wants to win, he picked a good landing spot.

In all honesty, though, the "I want to win" mentality will serve Revis well in New England. And if he can stay healthy, the Patriots will have more than a chance of overcoming Denver and at least making to the Super Bowl. Having Revis doesn't garuantee a 4th ring, but he gives us a much better chance.
