Yikes - Wilfork clears out locker room and rips nameplate off stall

Right after I finished the previous article on Robert Kraft's hopeful comments on Vince Wilfork, ESPN reported that Wilfork cleared out his locker and took his nameplate off of his locker stall after negotiations with the Patriots went poorly when he first asked for his release 2 weeks ago.

Wilfork is owed $7.5 million dollars this year, the final season of a 5-year/$40 million deal he signed in 2010, according to NESN. If this report from NESN is accurate, then it's a terrible sign if you want Wilfork to stay, because it means the Patriots are likely to part ways with Wilfork sooner rather than later. Unless, of course, Vince changes his mind and decides to stay in New England. That seems like wishful thinking at this point if these reports are to be believed, though. If you're a Wilfork fan and you want to see him back, all you can do at this point is hope for a miracle.
