Life after Brady: Belichick wants to win after Brady

Albert Breer of the NFL Network is reporting that Bill Belichick has no plans to retire when his star quarterback retires, citing Belichick's desire to win another ring after Tom Brady retires.

Per Pro Football Zone:
“One of the worst kept secrets here in Foxboro is that Belichick doesn’t plan on going anywhere for quite some time,” said Breer. “In fact you talk to people who know Belichick well, they’ll tell you a goal of his is to win a championship after Tom brady retires.”

It would not surprise me at all if these reports were true - Belichick is a Hall of Fame coach, but he's competitive. I'm sure he would want to silence his doubters that say that "Well, Tom Brady made him look better than he is." Anyone who has been following the Patriots closely knows that's not the case, but of the are people on the outside looking in, I'm sure there are more than a few that believe that having one of the best quarterbacks in history helped make Belichick look better than he actually is. I don't buy it, but I'd like to see Belichick win another championship post-Brady to shut those guys up.
