The New England Patriots have signed Linebacker James Anderson to add depth to the charts, and released Mark Harrison to make the room for him according to the Boston Herald.

Anderson has played for the Panthers and Bears, with four sacks and 102 tackles last year.

Anderson can also play vital insurance for players such as D'onta Hightower, Jerod Mayo, and Jamie Collins in the event of injury. Mayo is already fighting a torn pectoral muscle, but has been practicing lately and will absolutely be ready to go for training camp day one. Below are Anderson's stats courtesy of nfl.com
