Brady on Kenbrell Thompkins and return of the Gronk

Training camp just started so obviously all of the East coast is giddy with thoughts of football and lazy sundays. We had our first look at the 2014 Patriots and they look good. Particularly Kenbrell Thompkins who made a few wicked nice plays and also earned himself some loving words from his quarterback:

In post-practice interview, Tom Brady talked about WR Kenbrell Thompkins laying out to make a catch -- a play he said elevates entire team.

In fact, he was even then invited to hangout with the cool kids on the sideline:

All in all a productive day for Mr. Thompkins. For a player who many had on the roster buddle (us included), starting off camp like this is a big boost for his chances of staying on the team.
That wasn't the only receiver getting lots of love from his quarterback. We all knew today signalled the return of the Gronk and Brady was quick to point out what Gronk brings to practice:
