Breer: Gronk could have limited impact at the start

Rob Gronkowski should be playing when the season starts, but he may not be 100%, according to Albert Breer.



Just having him on the field means he'll have some impact, even if he's not catching passes. Having him on the field will mean he'll draw defenders to him and open up for the other receivers, and he'll be able to block as well, at least to a point. As far as catching passes goes, I think most fans would agree that it would be much better to have Gronk at his pass-catching best in December and January then September and October.
