Calvin Pace says the Jets have the best defense in football

No, that's not a joke. The Jets just don't know when to stop running their mouth. First, you had Dee Milner and Geno Smith, now you have Calvin Pace saying the Jets have the best defense in the game.

Per WEEI:

“[Compared to] the rest of the defenses in the NFL? S—, man, we’re the best,” Pace told the New York Daily News. “You ask anybody around the league, we’re not the team you want to see coming in, even in a down year.”

Keep dreaming, bud. The Jets defense is ok, but it's nowhere near the top. It's not even the best in the AFC East. That would be Patriots. At least on paper. And the fact that Pace is saying the Jets are better than the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers, to name a couple, is downright laughable. This is a typical New York Jets "all talk, no game" statement. And, just like Milner and Smith, it's just an empty statement that won't come true, as it'll be a pretty typical year in the AFC East. They'll finish looking up at us with an 8-8 or 9-7 record while we win the division.
