Benjarvus Green-Ellis released from Bengals

It is now being reported that Benjarvus Green-Ellis has been released from the Bengals, sighting that they want more youthful talent in the backfield.



Jeremy Hill, the second round pick out of LSU is the logical choice to take over at Running Back this year. His speed and agility are just better than Green-Ellis can produce right now.

Green-Ellis has also been battling a nagging hip injury recently, but did put on a clinic against the colts with 90 rushing yards and 70 receiving yards. Apparently its a little too late and not enough for the Bengals.
