Bill Belichick was asked about the possibility of moving Darrelle Revis around the field and taking Brandon Browner out of his comfortable spot on the field. For those familiar with Browner, he has always been a right corner. Some fans and media reports have shown concern that teams may simply avoid Revis by putting the most skilled receiver against Browner if they stick to their sides. Well Belichick has at least explored appeasing these worries, as mentioned on WEEI and reported here by Ben Volin:

I may go a little too deep into the comments here, but it seems that Belichick goes out of his way to mention that both guys are flexible and open to the change. Choosing to describe their flexibility as such will at least cause defenses to prepare as if their best guys will line up against Revis. I'm not particularly surprised by these comments, especially because they will take up valuable game planning time if nothing else early in the season, but I take the coach at face value here. If teams see that the corners stay at home on their sides the first few weeks Browner is eligible to play, then you'll quickly see adjustments to take skilled guys away from Revis Island. The hoodie has a sports car on defense, much like he had on offense in 2007 with Randy Moss. We see that he utilized Moss to record setting heights, and I'd expect the same from his use of Revis in any alignment. This is a case of in Bill we trust.

How would you utilize Revis? Do you think he can change the game as much as Moss did? Comment below or get in touch @TheFib0624
