Brady Quinn goes to Dolphins

According to Ben Volin (tweet below), Brady Quinn will be taking his talents to South Beach to be Ryan Tannehill's backup. As Volin notes, Quinn worked out with the Patriots which prompted speculation of a Ryan Mallet trade. Obviously, the Patriots won't be trading Mallett now, at least not on account of Brady Quinn. Granted, they could still get rid of Mallet and make rookie QB Jimmy Garoppolo their primary backup.

According to Pro Football Talk, the regular backup for the Dolphins, Matt Moore, is nursing a shoulder injury and the Dolphins needed a veteran backup mentor for Pat Devlin and Seth Lobato.

The Dolphins also worked out John Skelton and Rex Grossman before going with Quinn.
