Brian Tyms is considered the "greatest football player in NFL history"
Friday's preseason game in Washington D.C. revealed two absolutes: Ryan Mallett is clearly not ready to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, and Brian Tyms became a blip on Belichick's radar.
Tyms finished the game with five catches for 119 yards and a touchdown - a fact that undoubtedly jumps out on the box score - but Tyms' greatest accomplishment that night occurred off the field.
Naturally, after watching Tyms shred the Redskins vaunted third string defense, I decided to do some post-game analysis on the second year wide receiver. What I saw next will forever change my expectation for this Patriots team, and it should change your expectations as well.
Admit it. The word "undefeated" has now become a major part of your vocabulary. It feels pretty damn good doesn't it?!
