Marvin Jones targets New England for return
Bengals' hope right now is to have WR Marvin Jones back after their Week 4 bye. If it happens, he returns to play v. the Patriots on Oct. 5.

It is admirable that WR Marvin Jones of the Cincinnati Bengals has circled Week 5 for his return to action. The third year receiver from the University of California is not shy. He could wait another week for a home game against the Carolina Panthers. Not a chance. He has chosen the Sunday game on October 5th at the New England Patriots for his 2014 debut.
After a relatively quiet rookie season in 2012 with 18 receptions, the sophomore campaign was a breakout one for Marvin with 51 catches. In Week 8, he had 8 receptions for 122 yards and 4 touchdowns against the New York Jets. The broken foot he received in preseason practice will delay his work in the new Hue Jackson offense.
Based on my experience covering guys w/ a broken fifth metatarsal, a "few weeks" would seem to be an optimistic timeframe for Marvin Jones.

The upbeat Jones was second in yards and receptions for the 2013 Cincinnati Bengals. He is getting a late start for 2014, but will be raring to go full tilt against the Patriots in Foxboro.
Do you think it has anything to do with the NBC's 8:30PM nationally televised contest with Al Michaels and former Cincinnati WR Cris Collinsworth?
Why would we think that?
