Rob Gronkowski is not in Richmond with the team

You probably could've guessed this from the news this morning but Rob Gronkowski did not travel with the team down to Richmond. The Patriots are holding joint practices with the Washington Redskins, which tend to be a little heavier on the team drills.

Gronk has been held out of those drills thus far in camp, as he recovers from a torn ACL he suffered in the middle of last season.

The fact that Gronk didn't make it down at all obviously excludes him from also participating in the preseason game between the two teams Thursday night. According to reports out of camp, Brady has had no problems shredding the Redskins secondary without Gronk though.
