Guess the only way for me to get past 10k followers was for my dad to buy the bills HAHA #ThanksDad

Professional Tennis player, Jesse Pegula has to be ecstatic now that Dad owns both major sports teams in Buffalo. Terry Pegula was able to win the bid over noted celebrities, Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi. $1.4 billion is a good price for a first place team. The plan for a downtown stadium for the Bills is next on the agenda.
The news was just as good in Week 1 when the Bills went into Chicago and knocked off the Bears in overtime, 23-20. QB E.J. Manuel was very efficient with 16 completions in 22 attempts and 173 yards. The running game was in full gear with Fred Jackson (7 for 61), Anthony Dixon (5 for 60) and C.J. Spiller (15 for 53) keeping their own defense resting on the bench for 34 minutes.
The Bon Jovi CD's are back on the shelves. The home opener on Sunday brings the 1-0 Miami Dolphins to Ralph Wilson Stadium. I hope the Bills remember to block DE Cameron Wake. One team forgot to block him last Sunday, and they are on the bottom looking up.
The Miami Dolphins hosted the New England Patriots for their season opener. The Patriots forgot to bring their talents to South Beach, and were annihilated, 33-20. A 20-10 halftime lead melted in the sun. QB Tom Brady should have taken out a restraining order against the Miami defensive front.
Do you remember when the Boston Red Sox would acquire players like Danny Cater and Don Demeter who were always putting up big numbers against them? And when they got these players, they didn't produce at all. If I were the Patriots, I would acquire RB Knowshon Moreno. To have to play against him twice a year for the forseeable future is not going to work. Knowshon shredded the Patriots defense for 134 yards on 24 carries. If he had needed any more, he could have done so.
While the Miami Dolphins had their way with the last place Patriots, this Sunday will be different in Buffalo. Last Sunday was an aberration.
An 8-8 win team captures its home opener, and now they are title contenders. The other team in New York, the Giants fell flat on their face in getting creamed by the Detroit Lions, 35-14. Now, it's the New York Jets' turn to rule the back pages of all the tabloids. The only problem is that the home victory was against the lowly Oakland Raiders who featured a rookie QB, Derek Carr of Fresno State.
The 19-14 win puts the Jets in a three way tie for first place with the Bills and Dolphins. After their visit to Green Bay on Sunday, they will be on pace for another 8-8 record.
Chris Berman, ESPN:
"Nobody circles the Wagons like the Buffalo Bills."
After Sunday, there will be a three way tie for second place in the AFC East at 1-1. The Buffalo Bills will be the frontrunner in the division at 2-0. Preseason predictions don't mean a thing.
