CBS Boston: Chiefs a safe bet to upset Patriots

At the end of his piece, Hunt gave his outlook for the upcoming Monday night match up, saying the following:
Overall, the Chiefs aren’t playing like playoff contenders this season, but they still earned a road victory against a Dolphins team the Patriots couldn’t handle in Week 1. Also, Arrowhead Stadium is considered to be one of the toughest places to play in the NFL — last year, the venue set a Guinness world record for the loudest outdoor stadium when crowd noise reached 137.5 decibels during an October game against the Oakland Raiders. Kansas City is a four-point underdog for this game, but don’t be surprised if the Chiefs win the contest outright.
This really shouldn't surprise anyone by this point. The Chiefs are 1-2 and have had some injuries to some significant players, namely Jamaal Charles, but they boast what could be the biggest threat to the Patriots right now - a dangerous front seven led by Dontari Poe, Justin Houston and Tamba Hali.
The Chiefs are hovering right outside the top 10 in passing yards allowed (they're 11th) with 223.7. They are towards the bottom in run defense, as they give up 130.3 on the ground, good for 23rd in the NFL.
We know full well of the struggles of the Patriots offensive line, and the Chiefs aren't going to make life easy for them or for Tom Brady. I don't buy into the whole crowd noise as much as some other people might, but one way or another, with the way things have gone so far, fans have every reason to believe it'll be a long night for the offensive line.
I don't think it would surprise many people if the Chiefs end up winning this game, but it also wouldn't surprise the masses if the Patriots won.
That being said, this is an Andy Reid-coached team. He has a history of incredibly questionable play-calling, subpar clock management, and having his teams seemingly falter down the stretch in meaningful games.
The point is, nothing is off limits when it comes to him. I still expect the Patriots to come out of Kansas City with a win.
