Dolphins say they are prepped for Rob Gronkowski

USA Today Sports
Rob Gronkowski will be playing on Sunday in the season opener in Miami against the Dolphins and Miami says they'll be ready, according to CSNNE.

“Well, we were fully prepared,” Philbin said Monday in South Florida. “We saw he’s on the 53-man roster, so you have to be prepared for every combination. He’s an excellent player. He’s been a very, very productive player throughout his career. We’ll have a good plan in place, but he’s certainly an important part of their offense, and a productive part of it. We’ll be ready for him, for sure.”

Last year, Gronk had a limited impact against the Dolphins (2 catches, 27 yards), but was out for the 2nd game. In 2012, it was much the same story - 2 catches for 42 yards and he missed the 2nd game, so Joe Philbin hasn't seen Gronk at 100% in his 2 years of coaching Miami, and he might not be at his best this week because it's his first game back from injury. I'm sure Gronk will have some impact this week, but he'll see limited time.

How much time he'll see is unclear, but I have a feeling we'll see a Gronk spike before the game is over on Sunday.
