Logan Mankins injured in Tampa Bay Buccaneers regular season debut

In the second quarter of his Tampa Bay Buccaneers debut Logan Mankins went down with an apparent knee injury. His return was first ruled questionable, but he was eventually ruled out of the game. A follow up report from ESPN cites multiple reports calling the injury a hyper extension. His status going forward is unknown.
