Long snapper Danny Aiken possibly returning to the Patriots [Update: It's official]
Aiken had re-signed with the team earlier in the offseason after being the teams long snapper the previous three seasons. The Patriots also signed Tyler Ott to provide some competition but he was cut early in training camp. With Ott cut, it appeared that Aiken had won the long snapping job. Until he was cut.
Now after spending nearly a week with out a LS and with the first game of the season fast approaching, it appears that Aiken is returning to the team.
Former Patriots long snapper Danny Aiken worked out for Broncos on Tuesday. Aiken now back in Mass., & strong possibility he re-signs in NE.

Long snapper Danny Aiken is present at Gillette Stadium this morning, an indication that he has been re-signed by the New England Patriots five days after the club waived him. This positions Aiken to be the club's primary snapper for the fourth straight year.
Aiken has been solid in his time with the team. While he did have a snap sail over Ryan Allen's head in last years divisional playoff game against the Colts, that appears to be the exception instead of the rule.
So what do you think? Does the team need to bring back Aiken or just go all Madden and never punt or try field goals and always go for 2-point conversions after touchdowns?
UPDATE: He's back
