The Ray Rice controversy just won't die down. On Monday, the full video of  Rice hitting his then-fiancee back in February was released, causing a storm of anger on social media and leading to the Ravens cutting him and the NFL suspending him indefinitely.

The NFL denies having access to the full video before now, but according to new information from the Associated Press, a law enforcement official said he sent the tape to the league back in April.

An article by the AP
reports that the law enforcement official played a 12-second voicemail from the NFL on April 9th, confirming the video had arrived.

The person played The Associated Press a 12-second voicemail from an NFL office number on April 9 confirming the video arrived. A female voice expresses thanks and says: "You're right. It's terrible."

While the video was reportedly confirmed to have arrived, the official, can't confirm that anyone actually watched the video according to AP, but if this report is accurate, the NFL looks even worse than it did on Monday. It's uncertain where this will lead, but Roger Goodell's job should be in serious doubt if these reports are accurate.
