Vereen says Pats didn't have right mind set in KC

Are you still crying over the absolute beat down the Patriots took Monday night? I know I am, so it makes me wonder where we went wrong.

Well apparently to Vereen, the Patriots went into Kansas City with the wrong mind set and were behind from the start from what CSNNE has to say.

"Probably one of the most embarrassing losses I've been a part of, you never can prepare for that. It happens, they get paid too. They are a great team. Clearly we didn't come with the right mind-set to play. The plan was to get things going early, we knew the crowd and the noise was going to be an effect, so we wanted to start fast… I don't think it happened quite the way we planned it though."

When going into a stadium like Arrowhead, which repeatedly sets records for decibel levels, and can distract even the best of players, you have to be focused. If you can't focus in on your game then you are going to lose, which is exactly what happened Monday night.

Next Sunday is the Bengals, and they are coming off of a bye week. This is going to be one tough game, and there is a ton of work to be done in the week ahead.
