Video: Alshon Jeffery and Alfonzo Dennard get ejected in the 2012 Capital One Bowl

When the New England Patriots play the Chicago Bears this week we might see a match up of Alfonzo Dennard and Alshon Jeffery. This won't be the first time they have played against each other. On January 2,2012 the two went toe to toe in the Capital One Bowl for most of the game. Right up until they went fist to fist late in the 3rd quarter and both players were ejected.
South Carolina went on to win the game 30-13, even with out the continued help of Jeffery. Jeffery had made an impact earlier in the game by catching a Hail Mary pass at the 4 yard line and dove into the end zone as time expired. As an odd twist to the story, Jeffery was named the MVP of the game despite the ejection.
The Bears are bringing in probably the best tandem of receivers the Patriots have seen this year. Between Marshall and Jeffery the Pats secondary will have their hands full. Revis will most likely be shadowing Marshall leaving Jeffery to be covered by a combination of Browner,Dennard and Ryan. Dennard will have to keep his cool as the Patriots will need him on the field as much as possible.
While this isn't the rematch of the century, it definitely has some history to it. It'll be interesting to see if they get matched up and if there is any bad blood still between the two.
