Belichick on Brady-Rodgers match up: 'They both wear No. 12'

There usually are quite a bit of dull moments during Bill Belichick's press conferences. But every so often, he'll have a line or two that will really make you laugh, which is what happened earlier this morning when speaking to the media about Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers going head-to-head for the first time in their careers.

That might possibly be my favorite Belichick quote ever. Just awesome.

Belichick then seemed to get back on track when asked about what makes Rodgers so special, per Ben Volin:

It's just, he's great. He's quick, he's big, he throws the ball very accurately, has great vision down the field. He finds guys that there's not a lot of space, but he finds them and he hits them. He's really good. I'm not taking anything away from anybody else, but this guy is a really good player.

When asked about what kind of challenges Rodgers presents, Belichick continued to laud him.

Everything. He's a great player. He does a tremendous job, really at everything. He's got no weak points; makes every throw. [He] handles the team very well at the line: checks and adjustments, he certainly sees the defense well. [He] uses all his weapons, makes great throws from the short ones [to] intermediate, down the field, sidelines, back shoulders, deep routes and then he has a great ability to extend plays, either sliding in the pocket or at times scrambling outside the pocket. They've made a lot of plays this year on things like that where he either buys extra time or flat-out gets away from the rush and lets the receivers uncover. He's a hard guy to tackle, hard guy to get and a very good thrower, very accurate thrower and has great vision. He's really good.

Belichick rarely praises players that much, so that speaks to how good Rodgers is and how much of a tough match up this is going to be for the Patriots.
