Jonas Gray wins AFC Player of the Week

Is anyone surprised by this? No? Me neither. Jonas Gray's 201 yards and 4 touchdowns against Indianapolis were enough to get him AFC Player of the Week honors this week, according to Pro Football Talk. Again, I don't think anybody is really surprised by this - Gray far outstripped just about everyone else in the league with that performance.

Now he faces the best statistical run defense in the league in the Detroit Lions (which is giving up 68.8 YPG), which will be a much bigger challenge than Indy. If he puts up even half those numbers (which I think he can and will do, even against Detroit), it will go a long way towards ensuring success against Detroit.
