Tom Brady responds to Bronco's claim that they will beat Pats, win Super Bowl

Broncos' defensive lineman Terrence Knighton was feeling pretty good about himself and his team after shutting down the San Diego Chargers Sunday evening.

"Pot Roast", as he's affectionatly called, said after the game that the Broncos would beat New England and win the Super Bowl.

Word of that recently got back to the Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, who had a little something to say on the subject.

Tom Brady on Westwood One, via Boston Herald:
"It doesn't matter what you say, it matters what you do," Brady said. "My Dad always told me, 'Well done is better than well said.'"

It's looking like both teams will get their chance to prove just what they can do in the upcoming playoffs.

The Patriots have an inside track at the number 1 seed, and a dangerous Denver team is looking like they'll be the second seed - setting the stage for an AFC Championship rematch in Foxborough, if favorites win out.

Of course, as we know, that doesn't always happen. Knighton should perhaps focus on the short term until then. For what it's worth, Knighton does seem to be enjoying the back and forth.
