We've all been so wrapped up in a game that by the time the final seconds tick away, we feel that our heart is going to jump out of our chest.

For Michael Sven Vedvik of Kent, WA, this became an unexpected reality.

According to his obituary published by The Spokesman-Review the 53 year old's family blames "the Seahawks lousy play call for Mike’s untimely demise."

The play in question is the now famous last second pass thrown by Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson that was intercepted by Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler in the waning seconds of Super Bowl XVIX.

Rest in peace Michael. The 12th man will miss you.
