Brandon Gibson is now a member of the New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have signed former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Gibson to a one-year contract worth $825,000, ESPN's Field Yates reports. The deal includes $40,000 in guaranteed money in the form of a signing bonus.

Gibson, who played 14 games for Miami during the 2014 season, has familiarity with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who served in the same role during the 2011 season.

Brandon was a 2009 sixth round pick of the Philadelphia eagles. He has spent time with the St. Louis Rams , and most rercently the Miami Dolphins. He is originally from Germany and played his college ball at Washington State. Brandon was also a member the basketball team.

In 2012, Brandon had his best campaign with 51 catches for 691 yards and five TD's. He was a teammate of fellow Patriots' WR Danny Amendola. Gibson signed a one year deal with the New England Patriots for $825,000.00.
