Emmanuel Sanders thinks the Patriots shouldn't be Super Bowl champions

Emmanuel Sanders, now with the Denver Broncos, had the chance to sign with the Patriots when he was a free agent last spring. At the time, it seemed as if the interest was mutual.

Instead, he opted for the chance to play with Peyton Manning and bowed out in the Divisional round at home against the Colts. It looks like Sanders may just be one jealous dude, as he said yesterday that the Patriots shouldn't be Super Bowl champions because of Deflategate.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m kind of mad. I don’t think that they (New England) should be the Super Bowl champion this year.”

“You aren’t supposed to cheat,” Sanders said. “Cheating is not good, especially when you’ve got guys who are working their butts off for 365 days out of the year and one person cheats—whether it helps them win the Super Bowl or not, they still cheated and shouldn’t be a champion.”

While Sanders' point is on par with tons of other people, he's going off an assumption that the Patriots are guilty when in reality no one really knows if they are or not. Sounds like he's just incredibly bitter, if nothing else.

This wins the Internet.
