Gronk plans to stay healthy for full 16 games

After being plagued by injuries for much of his early career, tight end Rob Gronkowski completed a full season last year en route to a Super Bowl championship, and Gronk plans to do that again according to Pro Football Talk.

“It feels great, definitely, going into the season just thinking that way,” he said. “Going to go all year long. You just have to take care of your body the whole time. You have to keep making sure you stay up on lifting, so your body’s strong. Keeping all up on your eating, massages, all that, so you’re ready to go for all 16 games of the year, no doubt.”

Your season could be over in the blink of an eye in the football word, as one bad hit could end your season (see: TJ Ward's hit on Gronk in 2013), so no one can say with 100% certainty that they'll be healthy all year, but I like Gronk's confidence. I for one am looking forward to having him and Scott Chandler on the field next season. Having 2 physical monsters like that should mean the Patriots offense will be just as potent as ever. It'll be fun to watch them both in action at full health.
