Patriots announce start date for training camp

We're getting closer and closer to football season.

One of the signs that we are getting close is that the Patriots have announced the starting date for training camp.

ESPN Boston

The New England Patriots' veterans will report for training camp on July 29, the team announced Monday.

The next day will be the official start of training camp for the Patriots, who will hold their 13th consecutive training camp at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Daily practice sessions will be free and open to the public. The team will practice once daily from July 30 through Aug. 2. The team will update dates and times on its website.

The Patriots will also hold a joint practice with the New Orleans Saints later in August.

One key point to remember is that all players facing a suspension, like Tom Brady and LeGarrette Blount will be allowed to participate in all training camp and joint practice sessions.
