Recap: Patriots 51 Jaguars 17

Good thing for the 2015 Patriot is that the Jacksonville Jaguars are still the Jacksonville Jaguars.

New England did basically what you though they would; pants the Jags at Gillette Stadium to the tune of 51-17. Tom Brady hit the 400 TD millstone, but also ended his day with 358 yards another touchdown added on top and completed 33 of 42 passes.

Dion Lewis was the lead back for the Patriots with 37 yards on 8 rushed with a score, but when it was garbage time, it was LeGarrette Blount carrying the load with 78 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Rob Gronkowski did not record a touchdown for the first time this season, but did catch 4 balls for 101 yards. Keshawen Martin and Danny Amendola both caught TD passes on the day.

Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski set an NFL record with his 423rd straight successful point after touchdown on Sunday against the Jaguars to set a new NFL mark that was formally held by Matt Stover. He finished his day with 6 extra point field goals and was a perfect three of three on field goals.

The Patriots head into the bye week 3-0 and will play the Brandon Weeden-led Dallas Cowboys on October 11th.
