Tom Brady to #BillsMafia: 'We'll be ready come 1 o'clock on Sunday'

The Buffalo Bills downed the soft-as-poo Indianapolis Colts yesterday in Buffalo, beating Andrew Luck and Co. by a final score of 27-14, and really, it wasn't even that close.

The Buffalo defense smothered and punished Luck's offense throughout the contest, yielding just 243 passing yards and picking off a pair of balls, all the while holding Luck to a mediocre 63.6 QB rating. The Bills offense, led by Tyrod Taylor, fared even better.  Tyrod went 14/19 for 195 yards, a touchdown and finished with a 123.8 rating. They controlled the pace of play, ran the ball for 147 total yards against the hapless Colts defense and hit the big play when they needed it - a 51-yard bomb to Percy Harvin as the opening score of the contest to set the tone.

As time was winding down in the game, the rejuvenated Bills crowd at Orchard Park was delirious, not just because of the performance their team had just put in, but also because they had already set their sights on their next opponent: Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Bills fans were chanting "We want Brady!" as their game to a close, and during his weekly interview with WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Monday morning, they played TB12 the clip, and Brady wants all those Bills fans to know that he and the Pats will be ready to go come Sunday.

"Well, we'll be there," Brady responded with a chuckle. "Sunday at 1 is going to be a pretty exciting game. They obviously have a lot of confidence and coach Rex Ryan has brought that to a lot of place's he's [been.]

"They're not an easy team to prepare for, but we'll be ready to go when the ball is kicked off."

Rex Ryan's defenses have always given Brady trouble, and a Bills defense coached by Rex Ryan is sure to give the Pats even more issues. The Bills defense is elite, and it seems they finally have a Russell Wilson-type, manage-the-game offense that can compliment it.

Next Sunday is going to be very, very fun.
