With Manning still dealing with a foot injury that could keep him out longer than this coming week, the Broncos turned to Osweiler in hopes of jump-starting an offense that was anemic under Manning. That was mostly due to the fact that Manning was anemic himself.
Not that Brady wasn't going to not finish with a better overall head-to-head record, but if this rivalry is indeed over, Brady will finish with an 11-5 record against Manning.
Against the Chicago Bears yesterday, Osweiler completed 20 of 27 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns.
