The Redskins were frustrated with LeGarrette Blount and their inability to recover surprise onside kick

LeGarrette Blount had quite the day yesterday, rushing for 129 yards and a touchdown down on 29 rushing attempts. He was so good that Jason Hatcher of the Redskins voiced his frustration with his defense's inability to stop Blount.

"He’s a load," Hatcher said. "He’s definitely a load."

The 250-pound Blount is tough to bring down for anybody considering his running style. He broke off a few nice runs yesterday, including a 21-yard scamper in the fourth quarter where he was able to break out of a sure tackle from Redskins safety Dashon Goldson.

With Dion Lewis's season in doubt, Blount will be relied on more heavily moving forward.

However, Blount wasn't the only thing that frustrated Washington yesterday.

After the Patriots scored their first touchdown of the game, they decided to try a little deception and went for an onside kick that was recovered by Jonathan Freeny.

The ball bounced around for a few seconds before Freeny was able to pounce on it, which left Redskins head coach Jay Gruden a little filibustered.
