BREAKING: Julian Edelman spotted at Patriots practice
Christmas came early in the form of Julian Edelman practicing today. He wasn't wearing a boot on his broken foot and appeared to be moving well. He's obviously not going to play on Sunday night, but the fact that he's practicing at all right now is an unbelievably good sign for the Patriots.

Edelman hasn't played since breaking his foot against the Giants in mid-November and was expected to be out until the start of the playoffs. That timetable may still be very much in play, but this will undoubtedly raise speculation that he'll come back sooner than that. With the Patriots basically gasping for air on offense, the sooner Edelman and Rob Gronkowski can get back, the better.
Here's an interesting tidbit from Kevin Duffy, who outlined Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant's recovery time from the same injury that Edelman has now.
