Coughlin manned the helm for the Giants for the past 12 years, going 102-90 during the regular season and 8-3 in the postseason, with two Super Bowl titles. It's been a game of will-he, won't-he seemingly forever with Coughlin and the Giants and his job status, and after missing the playoffs for the fourth-consecutive season, and with back-to-back 6-10 seasons, both sides feel the time is now right to part ways.
