The Patriots may soon be able to don their classic Pat Patriot uniforms again thanks to a proposed rule change by the Philadelphia Eagles, who actually did something useful for once.
The proposed rule change, if it passes, would allow teams to have an "alternative helmet in a color to match their third uniform."
The Patriots don't currently have a third uniform due to the current rule that prevents them from wearing the Pat Patriot colors, and those color rush uniforms suck, so I hope they stay away from those.
This proposal has reportedly received a lot of support and should be passed. The annual NFL meetings take place next week in Arizona, so this will no doubt be a topic of discussion.
