LeGarrette Blount has a contract offer from the Patriots, but reportedly won't sign it

The Patriots and LeGarrette Blount seem to be at a crossroad.

The team has offered Blount a contract, according to multiple reports. However, it appears he won't sign the deal, as he's looking for more money than what's being offered (we don't know how much that is at this moment).

Blount is coming off a record-breaking season in which he rushed for over 1,000 yards and 18 touchdowns, breaking the Patriots' single-season record of 14 set by Curtis Martin in 1995. By virtue of that, Blount clearly believes he deserves more than another incentive-laden contract.

If Blount and the Patriots cannot come to terms on a deal, the Patriots may replace him through the draft or not at all. With the recent re-signing of Brandon Bolden, New England has four running backs on the roster including Rex Burkhead, James White and Dion Lewis.
