LeGarrette Blount signs 1-year deal with the Eagles
LeGarrette Blount has found a home in Philadelphia, as he is set to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles, according to multiple reports.
The Patriots will receive a compensatory pick from the Eagles as a result of them placing the little-used May 9 tender on Blount.

Blount's time in New England was in question after the Pats signed Rex Burkhead, and it came to a screeching halt once they signed Mike Gillislee a couple weeks ago. The Pats now have Burkhead, Gillislee, Dion Lewis and James White in their backfield, so there was no place for Blount.
Meanwhile, are pretty thin at the running back position, so Blount fills a big need. He will join an aging Darren Sproles, Wendell Smallwood, Ryan Mathews and Donnel Pumphrey.
