In addition to Martellus Bennett, reports are just coming in that the Patriots will indeed place core special teamer Nate Ebner on IR.

Ebner was injured during a fake punt play on the Patriots' opening drive on Sunday against the Dolphins.

League source also confirms #Patriots safety Nate Ebner will be placed on IR after suffering knee injury vs. Dolphins. Was having another All-Pro caliber season.
