Bill Belichick doesn't usually come across as personable, but this morning he showed he can be human sometimes.
Belichick surprised broadcasters Rich Eisen and Mike Mayock in the NFL Network's booth at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
The 6-plus minute segment saw Belichick praising Eisen and Mayock for the work they do on the broadcast and told them he usually watches parts of it on TV when he can't be there. He also presented Eisen a check for an undisclosed amount that will go to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Every year, Eisen runs a 40-yard dash at the combine to benefit the hospital.
Belichick also told a pretty cool story about interviewing Deion Sanders, now an analyst for the network, at the combine in 1989.
