After a rough start to his Patriots career, Stephon Gilmore was one of the Patriots' best defensive players down the stretch.
Gilmore came up with one of the best plays of the year for the Pats with just under two minutes to go in the AFC Championship Game against the Jaguars when he batted down a Blake Bortles pass on 4th & 14 that just about ended the game.
As a thank you, Tom Brady gifted his game-worn jersey to Gilmore.
When he gave me his game worn jersey after we won the AFC 😁😁 https://t.co/tY3YRsQuGV— The Gilly Lock (@BumpNrunGilm0re) March 3, 2018
Pretty nice gesture from TB12. Of course, the Patriots went on to lose Super Bowl LII to the Philadelphia Eagles, but Gilmore still played lights out. With Malcolm Butler all but gone, Gilmore will be relied on even more to be the shut down corner the Patriots need him to be moving forward.
